Extensively modified to comply with the added combined weight of a completely new series of composite water ballast tanks fore and aft, and splicing in of new curved foils derived from an earlier AC72 catamaran campaign.

This resulted in an unprecedented reinforcement of the hull and various internal structures, redesigned to manage additional weight and stresses of the new composite foil housing and bearing support cases.

A central water manifold designed and developed in composite material fed the new water ballast tanks. This system was supplemented with composite gate valves allowing water tank compartments to fill individually.

Additionally, KMC specialists fully reconstructed the forward bowsprit to over 1.0 meter longer in length. An attachment point was developed for the newly created bobstay in the stem pocket.

Technical work in the navigation station included a LCD display panel housing and a pair of new composite battery boxes for the updated lithium batteries.

The racing yachts fin was unmounted an replaced with a custom design. The lead bulb re-machined in Italy reducing the profile significantly. The pairing reassembled and re-mounted into the yacht.
